We have great news! The Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2 will be airing soon! Exciting right? We can’t wait to witness the man vs. god battle again! “Is there any man that needs a reason to protect his children?” – is one of the all-time favorite quotes from the Record of Ragnarok that would instill your emotions and throw you back again in time to when you first watched this anime.
From Season 1 to Season 2, the anime didn’t fail to keep us entertained and kept us on edge at all times. Whether it’s Goddess Aphrodite or the strongest warrior Lu Bu, every character from Record of Ragnarok has become an apple pie for our eyes.
But everyone’s looking out for the news of the Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2 Release date, so I will be sharing some exclusive news that will surely leave you in awe.
Shuumatsu no Valkyrie, known as “The Record of Ragnarok,” is an engaging manga series written by Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukuii and illustrated by Ajicjika. Due to its sudden burst of popularity, it started appearing in Seinen manga magazine and was finally adapted as anime by Graphinica (produced much famous anime like Helsing, wonder Momo, another world, etc.) and aired on Netflix in June 2021, the Record of Ragnarok Second Season 2 Part 1 premiered in January 2023.
Part one of the Record of Ragnarok Season 2 contains episodes 1 to 10, which have already been aired on Netflix in January 2023. On the other hand, Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2 will consist of the next five episodes, 11 to 15, and it’s expected to release in 2023. Although no exact date has been announced, Netflix has confirmed its release in 2023.

3 July 2023 Update: Warner Bros has unveiled a new trailer for the second part of Record of Ragnarok II — the second season of the anime of Shinya Umemura, Ajichika, and Takumi Fukui’s Record of Ragnarok (Shūmatsu no Walküre) manga — during its Anime Expo panel on Sunday.
The new trailer highlights the battle between Buddha (Yūichi Nakamura) and Zerofuku (Ayumu Murase) and also features the anime’s opening theme song “Rude, Loose Dance” by Minami.
Looking at humans, their exploitative nature, and how they have been ruining their future by disturbing the ecosystem, the gods decided to end their existence once and for all.
But as Zeus is going to finalize the decision Valkyrie Brunhilde somehow convinces the Gods for Ragnarok, which is one on one battle between God and humans, each team consisting of 13 fighters. For mankind to survive, humanity must win at least 7 out of 13 battles against God.
The catch is that no mere mortal can defeat the Gods; hence the Valkyrie sisters will risk their own lives by turning into weapons. Each weapon has special powers connected with the souls, and Valkyrie transforms into a weapon that a human desires the most, this very weapon is also the only way to kill a God. In episode 10 of Record of Ragnarok Season 2, we witnessed Shiva’s unexpected transformation, which turned the tables against Raiden. After Shiva’s transformation, the chances of Raiden winning the match are reduced to almost zero.
Raiden tries to counterattack Shiva with full might but ends up getting defeated. Raiden dies as a noble warrior by thanking Shiva for such an entertaining match before reducing into dust.

Round-6: We will witness Buddha taking the side of humans in Round 6, the great Buddha who was once a human until he transcended into the heavens as God decides to side with humans after observing the matches and recognizing the dedication of mankind to fight for their survival. In round 6, Buddha will be up against the God of Misfortune, Zerofoku.
Round-7: The founder of the Chinese Qin Dynasty, another powerful warrior like Lu Bu, Qin Shi Huang, will battle against Hades! Yes! The Greek god of the underworld and the brother of Poseidon.
Round-8: Serbian-American scientist Nikola Tesla, a pioneering scientist of the century, will clash against Beelzebub, the lord of flies who is also a prominent deity in the Philistine Pantheon and Abrahamic Pantheon.
As more manga chapters will release, we will get to learn more about what is going to happen soon in the Record of Ragnarok universe.
No, the Record of Ragnarok is still unfinished and is an ongoing manga series. Till now, a total of 75 chapters have been released online. You can always read it on Mangakalot or any other similar website.
But if you are an Anime fan rather than a manga reader, then we would suggest you wait for the release of Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Part 2 as it will be released in 2023, and we are anticipating it to release by June 2023.

24th February 2023 Update: Another announcement was made on the Record of Ragnarok official website! They revealed 5 more cast members for the anime and the list of the latest members has been shared below.
Wait there is more to the news, they have also revealed that the first part of anime will debut on TV in Japan on April 14 and shared a new visual where we get to see the most anticipated Gods against humans.
